And painting, philosophy and poetry. Oh and cake making, but that doesn't begin with a P.

Blending tool
I got a blending tool from ebay quite cheaply, but loathe as I am to spend money on the little foam pads for it, I've come up with a way to use the Cut N Dry foam that I've already been using. I've cut some felt to the size of my cut up foam and then used my hot melt glue gun to adhere it to the back of the foam. One cooled, I've roughed up the felt slightly with my fingernail and it sticks perfectly to the velcro on the the Inkssentials blending tool. One down, 11 to go!

A few photos
Here are a few photos from my trip to the south of France for the Cannes Film Festival. I had a fantastic time and look forward to going again next year.
Oh dear...
Here we are six months into the year and not a single blog post from me. That's not very good of me.
Part of the problem I find is that I do wonder who wants to read what I say and also that quite often life just takes over. It's been a busy start to the year with some wonderful happenings.
A short film my boyfriend was in won a prize at the Cannes Film Festival, the film is called I Am Lonely and was written by Jonathan Brown, part of the Tin Can Podcast team (http://tincanpodcast.co.uk).
I've been quite busy myself, with volunteering at a playgroup and starting driving lessons, so crafting has taken a little bit of a back seat, however, this weekend will see me have a good play around.
I hope that I will be a little firmer with myself and blog again soon!
